Why do YOU think Cayman's don't sell, if they are so great?
if your buying a cayman for straight line performance your, well, doing it wrong. look at car and driver's last lightening lap competition or motortrend's best driver's car article. it is a performance car for the track pure and simple. i wouldnt say it is a particularly luxurious car, you got it wrong people DO buy porsches for the performance....

the decline in sales more than likely has to do with a couple things. The massive sales success that the Panamera is, porsche customers (the ones that want the badge) probably see that as a better vehicle. Then there are the enthusiasts, and even though every 1 out of 3 drivers use a cayman at the DE's i go to they all have a common complaint: IT NEEDS MORE POWER.

It's funny that the article states that nobody wants a sports car in this economy. Guess the author didn't see the Camaro's sales #s w/o even a convertible or z28... and that's with the supposedly horrendous hard dash and visibility. (that was sarcasm) Who cares if the dash is hard. If I ever need to sleep in my car or punch my dash I'm sure I'll change my mind though.
