Yesterday, after like a 2 month hiatus..decided to get back in the swing of things. Not only did I feel weak, but I'm dying today lol. It's a "good hurt" though.

I have been sick since Sunday, haven't worked out since Saturday... Ugh, it's gonna feel like starting over when I get back.

Just getting back into the gym after a few months "off" (tore my bicep the week before the 4th of July), Dr. told me it happens in middle aged men, didn't even let me protest that I'm not middle aged. Anyway, she put it back together using what is best described as a toggle bolt. I go at lunch, bench has worked it's way back over 315 and curls not so good, kinda funny looking, a 65 in right hand and a 30 in left hand, better than when I started back and had to go get the pink weights (5#) for the left hand from the aerobics room.

well crap. I picked up my intensity and not my calories and dropped 4 lbs. I hate it when that happens.

My biceps seem to be growing alot faster than my triceps...

I typically do:

3x10 Dips
3x10 skullcrushers
3x10-12 cable push downs

Should I be doing higher reps and making my triceps burn bad? or increasing the weight and doing less reps?

Start with your 3x10 dips, increase weight and decrease reps by half for skull crushers and cable pull downs. Throw in some different excersizes as well like close grip bench. Finish off with light weight high reps to failure.

I think I am crazy and am going to try and set a guiness world record. By running a sub 1'30" half marathon either followed by a 500+ bench or do the 500+ before.

Wow good luck man. Just curious you based on the fact that you can run that long and fast I can't imagine you being that big of a guy, so just curious how big are you?

I saw your other post you did 315 on Incline for 3 sets of 10, and went to close grip bench for 3 sets of 15 with 225. That's not weight I see people doing at the gym and I'm in a university gym with college students and there are some big guys here.
