Spoke to Mike on the phone today and he is hanging in there, but very depressed with his health situation....:(

He's got a long, tough road ahead of him with a surgery on Oct 14th and then 2 weeks in the hospital to heal from that...

Then, he gets put on a transplant list and hopefully that will happen within the next 3-4 months...:(

He has already 'been through hell', ever since July 1st when he had the 1st surgery, just to save his life....:(

He told me that he wishes he died then, because his quality of life is gone.........

This is a lesson to everyone that reads this...cherish and appreciate your life RIGHT NOW, because today is all we have...

It can all 'go to hell' in a heartbeat, so be appreciative now of what you have......

Thanks, Frank...I'm trying to tell him to keep on fighting, because 'state of mind' and 'will to live' are very powerful tools to recovery...when my Dad was very sick with congestive heart failure, once he gave up the will to live, he was gone in a week...
