I like it because it still looks AMERICAN. I absolutely LOVE what the big 3 have done with the Camaro, Chally, and Stang. It's about damned time we start getting our identity back in the automotive industry.

SPEED had an hour long show last night, '2010 Mustang reveal' ), which featured some of the more unique Mustangs in its history, as well as revealing 4 2010 models.
Personaly, I think the biggest improvement is the interior. While looking at the exterior, my first reaction was, the changes to the exterior for 2010 appear to be somewhat of a "kneejerk" reaction to try and stay competitive with the newcomers, ala; Callenger and Camaro. ![]() I don't believe changing front and rear lamps, and adding a "Powerdome hood" are enough to excite most Mustang loyalists. ![]() My sister and her boyfriend, both Mustang owners and loyalists, prefer their earlier generation models to the current model, and the new one has done little to make them want to buy a new Mustang. But, I do congratulate Ford on keeping the Mustang alive and offering a nice car. I hope we'll all enjoy the ponycar revival for some time. |

Part of me likes it and part of me does not. I really digged the pre-refresh… This one I will have to get used to. Wonder how they are going to pull off the GT500? The interior looks to be better. It really does look like it has bad vision and is squinting to try to focus on the tail lights of the Camaro...

The one thing i will give to the mustang is i think they did up the interior nice. I think the center stack is boring, and there is still too much plastic, but they made it appeal to a wide base of consumers. I think they did i good thing here by making the interior with high quality materials without going over the top like some have argued the Camaro has done.

Although one thing that we shouldn't forget is that while the Mustang GT Premium does start @30k, that needs to be compared to a Camaro 2SS. Which still costs 3k more. Just as the base price of the 2010 Mustang GT is going to cost 27-28k which is still 2-3k cheaper than a Camaro 1SS. But in my opinion as well as many others on here. That 2-3k difference for what you get between the Mustang GT and Camaro SS seems to give the Camaro a better value for what you get overall compared to the Mustang. For others the Mustang will look like the better deal because it's cheaper. Although right now for around 30k the only 400hp car you can get is a Camaro SS. Which the Mustang and Challenger can't evenly compete with price wise. If Chevy does later come out with a 40-50+k Z28 then we'll factor that in but I do think that the Camaro SS will be the best bang for the buck out there compared to the Challenger and Mustang. Although 2012 That could change when the next gen Mustang comes out. Who knows?

hahaah the stangs front grill looks as functional as the camaros mail slot.
the hood is nice and the led tail lamps are nice. the interior is a great improvement over the previous. but judging the front end it looks very good im my rear view mirror

Definitely like it. It just needs more power NOW, and not in 2011.
