Are you saying the Camaro SS can beat a 2008 version of the GT500 in the quarter mile?? I think everybody knows it will beat a 2008 gt500 on a race track. But if what you say is true, that would mean the Camaro SS runs like 12.6-12.7 in the 1/4 mile. 12.6 in the 1/4 mile sounds too good to be true.

Hmmmm...maybe my .pdf is incomplete. I see the numbers regarding curb weight, engine power output, chassis, etc. on that document, but I can't seem to find the 0-60, 1/4 mile et and mph, skidpad, slalom or any other performance data that could be used in a comparison. Maybe they are there and I need some sort of GM-fanboy glasses in order to see them.

That proof must be in the same hidden area because I'm pretty sure the two cars have never been on a racetrack together. Let me guess, because the GT500 does not have IRS and the Camaro does, that means the GT500 automatically losses, right?
