well you need product to be able to pull off an ad like that and they finally have it. you couldn't have done that with the old lacrosse or lumina or most of the pre 2007 GM lineup of cars.

It was slim pickings alright but there were a few models that they could have used to do head to head commercials with.

I really like GM's new slogan, "May the best car win!" That literally gave me chills the first time I saw one of their commercials and they said that.

Damn, I hope GM gets their shit together and pulls out of this at the top.

I think GM should show more action shots of their cars as others do.

This "may the best car win" campaign is genius imo...It forces the competition to counter it. Because it is a challenger...only, they can't.

In the end, the buying public will know which is the better car.

There's a similar one I've been seeing that compares an entire lineup of Chevys against their Toyota counterparts. Also has a very honest, gimmick-free approach

You know I'm not sure if this is true or not but to me it seems like a lot of the older folks are the ones buying toyota and honda. They seem to be brainwashed into thinking American cars are junk now. Most of my friends drive American and a lot have bought new. My parents generation seems to be buying japanese now.
