Next year probably. Initially there were reports it wouldn't be in production until 2020 but if we're seeing IVERs already, I'd say that timeline is a little later than it really is.

Outstanding news!!! Chevy took a page from Ford with the Explorer. It probably won't be body on frame, but if they make a good unitized body with good suspension components, and a v8 option, then I'm sold!!

Edit: I read some of its description. I am wishing for the best. It won't be the robust (and rusty) blazer of the past, but it may help Chevrolet become more competitive.

Basically a Chevy version of the Acadia then right? Didn't they downsize the Acadia for this current generation? or is it going to be smaller than the Acadia

It's basically a Chevrolet Acadia, although our guys at GMI are comparing photos and it looks like this thing might be a tad shorter. The 3rd row would be really tight with the roofline.

The overall profile looks similar to the FNR-X Concept.

Little difficult to figure out at first, but this confirms CT4/CT5 will be A2XX cars, XT4/XT6 will be FWD CUVs.

Also, GM's new VSS platforms will start coming online very soon.
