Just by any chance if you don't mind asking what insurance company do you have. I can just imagine the call on that as I work for SF in the customer response center. I have heard about everything that can be hit from pink flamigos to a herd of cows, but never ever heard of hitting a bear. Poor bear

Bear tastes gross...and believe it or not..we have Bear that wonder into N. Atlanta sometimes..freaks people out ..have coyote problems also

I can imagine they experience. I almost hit a bear here in CT with my Civic. Came around a corner and it was crossing the road. My thoughts were in rapid succession,
1. That probably would have not killed the bear.
2. That would have killed my car.
3. Then the angry bear would kill me.

Got close enough to see a tag on his ear.

Glad you were driving a lifted truck and are ok. Go get a lotto ticket.
