2nded.. and horrible for a first car. I speak from experience. I just wish the Camaro came in a Sunset Gold like color akin to the Mustang. I friggin' love that color..

I've been talking with the guy who painted my truck (see my garage) and he likes CGM as a base coat for some custome paint. He also likes the dark blue as well.....

Reaaalllly thats good to know I like CGM anyway so maybe I will go with that incase the paint job I want is to expensive. I have sent out a few emails but no replys so far I guess people dont want my money

Dorks.... He kinda said that CGM is good for a more wild colorscheme as it goes with more colors.

He'd go with the dark blue if I wanted something subtle but "elegant"

He's been painting for 50 years.

He's not far from you. He's out of Tucson. Bout 6 hours away.

The only problem with painting the whole car a new color is the interior. I don't know if the Camaro hides the interior body structure well. But if you want a show quality job you have to paint the door jams and firewall and all that good stuff. It actually makes for a more expensive paint job if you want everything to be the same color as the outside.....

FWIW... I'd go with black if you were gonna repait the entire car.
