h42269450934-0321 is right. But that is not saying that you could of had an allergic reaction from it. That is very possible. Anytime someone injects "foreign" substances into a body, no one truly knows how the body will react. We are all the same, but the slight differences in the chemical makeup can have drastic effects.

Glad you were able to recover from it. I hate feeling like crap, not breathing, coughing, and everything else that goes with it.

What makes you think that the dead host they inject can't be resurrected by what's in your body? Those shots are the biggest scam, it's how strong your immune system will react to the virus.

not sure what you mean by scam? And our bodies do have some amazing powers, but resurrecting dead cells is really not one of them. Turn off Walking Dead and step away from the TV.

The CDC says you cant get the flu from a flu shot but it does say you can get side affects ranging from tenderness or swelling of the injection site to muscle ache, fever and nausea. To me that says you can get sick from a flu shot. May not be the flu per say but it has "side affects"

Exactly. You will NOT get the flu from the flu shot. Side effects, well yeah, including but no limiting is death. So it's a risk, depending on your health and condition whether you will have no side effects, all the way up to the part we put you in a pine box. But that goes the same for some over the counter medications also.

For example, Nyquil. OMG, the fruit of the Gods when I want to sleep and have a cold. Puts me out and lets me have a long deep sleep. Give that stuff to my wife, and you may as well made her drink 5 redbulls. I could have her repaint the house if she take the same dosage. It's all in how our body handles chemicals.

I felt like death. But I had a very very bad side affect which causes me to never get it again if it isn't mandatory.

The nyquil example made me laugh.

I've been feeling lousy for the past five days with what may be my first ever bout with tonsillitis. At sixty six years of age! Never had any issues as a kid with it.

On meds, finally starting to feel better. Throat so sore I could barely eat or drink.

Thought I'd join in on the Old Guy health issues thread. LOL.
