I understand haggling when you know there is money there to be haggled with. I actually purchased my 2013 SS new and tried the salesman route and knew what I wanted to pay cash for it. Salesman wouldn't budge. Spent the next 5 days negotiating online and that Friday I walked in with the deal done and about $4000 saved , plus got $1500 in GM accessories to boot on top of $1000 rebate. Salesman was sorta upset cause he said I paid for the car at a lesser price than he could buy it himself. Don't buy that but I actually paid within $300 of what I felt they should sell the car for and still make some profit on the GM kickback monies. Do your homework and know what a new car needs to sell for, then give them about 4% profit plus kickbacks and call it good.
