If they were to discount this one more i really like the GMC and have had a couple just like it. Might just call them and offer them 36k cash out the door for it and see if they want to move it.

I just bought a 2016 Silverado 2500HD diesel crew cab 4x4 for 42800 out the door.

2016 Colorado with Diesel pulls 7700lbs and gets 30mpg highway. I paid 38k for the Z71 loaded with everything I wanted.

That's awesome...up here loaded, out the door with $4700+ off i was still at $57,000+ Cdn.
I agree you have to WANT a smaller truck to pay those prices though... Plan on trading in on a ZR2 in 2018...

Ha Ha... you did well all the way around.

I got bored while waiting on the new Camaro so thought I'd take advantage of the 16 deals and they had a list on a white board of all the designated trucks. I picked one not on the list and due to having supplier pricing they were able to make the deal just like the discounted ones. Still only got 16% off and quite sure I could have done better.

In the big scheme of things, none of us saved anything. We still spent a boat load of money.

I enjoy spending my kids' inheritance on the things I want. Good thing I don't have any kids.

So True... if I get a decent trade in number I may even do that at the ZL1 purchase to save taxes and then shop for a 17. Just so glad to get rid of the Colorado.

Off topic but I'm looking at getting a new truck as well. I currently dd my 2016 platinum 4x4 Tundra I owned for 5 months but just hasn't grown on to me yet. I need (want) a 4x4 diesel 3/4 ton. I'm not brand loyal so idc who makes it. Looking strongly at a new Dodge mega cab 4x4 Larimie longhorn cummins. They are just a hair more than a loaded gas 1/2 ton. I've heard both good and bad things on the 6.7's but so far it looks like the route I'll go sometime next month.
