She wants a Grom lol. I'll probably have more fun using it for wheelies.

I am buying a 1290 SuperDuke for myself next. But she's only like 5'2" so a supermoto is way too tall. Also a S1000RR, she'd die lol. A grom fits her perfect, she's ridden my friends around and likes it. Plus for 3K I can beat it.

awesome. That is a little regret on my part. I went to class, training and got my motorcycle license for the state of IN, but never got a bike. That was like 8 years ago. I still have it marked on my license... but still no bike. Now, I think I would kill myself on a bike...hehehehe.

I'm sure your girlfriend will have a blast.

Look out for speed wobble on the 1290

I took 4-5 years off after someone made me go off the road into a field (they were in my lane on a turn). I got right back into it. I'm pretty sure if you can remember the basics you'd be fine!

Way more common on the super adventure, but it happens on the duke if it isn't sprung for your weight.

Ah well that makes sense. I set the suspension on every bike I buy basically on the same day I buy it.

My CB was a mess on the way home from the dealership. Sorted that out when I got home.

A friend of mine with a super adventure was going 120+ in Mexico and almost lost it cause of speed wobble. He had to change his pants after that.
