Regarding dealer emblems, I've handeled them one of two ways;
1. If I bought the car with the emblem already in place, I remove it; - If it's a metal/plastic emblem, some heat via a hairdryer, and some fishing line behind the emblem will always work, followed up with polish on the spot where the emble was removed. - If the emblem is a vinyl decal, again, some heat, and slowly peal away. 2. If I order the car, I always ask the dealer NOT to install their emblem. |

I agree. Its my car once it is bought. They dont pay my extra money to advertise for them. Did they give me a discount to run around with their name. No.

I always remove them immediately. Unless there is some "pricing reason" to leave it on, it's coming off.
