I guess my thing is that over on the Stingray forum they're complaining (as they should) about it as if it were some sort of catastrophic flaw that could warrant a whole new drivertrain.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no GM Engineer and not even 10% smart as these guys in terms of these machines, but I guess it's just me when I say "Different vents and covers? That's it?" Seems like a cheap way to fix it.

oh yea I hear what you're saying. But if they believe that a new lid and hood is the fix and its proven to fix it, I would be happy with it. I mean most of the guys complaining (and they should complain) aren't engineers either, so they don really know if its some crazy drivetrain flaw either. Everyone is just dramatic.

just let them fix it, be happy they're acknowledging that there's is a legit issue and are working towards a resolution.
