Nine moths later...job at the parent company of the one that layed me off. More money, less responsibility, no backstabbers. Good luck with the new position!

Feel like I nailed it, they tried to setup a second interview then and there with the owner but he wasn't available. The HR woman said she'd call with a second interview time soon, I think they can tell I am excited.
This is definitely a step up pay wise in my career too, like $7 more an hour top pay than where I was last at |
