Spray detail spray on the car while you're drying. You probably have hard water.

There are different degrees of clay. Clay bar your windshield and you won't need rain X . Don't let the clay get dry, make sure to keep turning to clean clay after a little bit of time. Do 1 panel at a time.

And after every panel/section reshape the clay bar so you aren't dragging the stuff you pulled off the previous panel/section onto the next one. For larger panels like the hood break it up into four sections of equal size. I usually will break the hood and roof to four sections each and the doors and bumpers into two sections. Front fenders and rear 3/4 panels can be done as one section, while the pillars are also one section each.

Depends on the wax. Synthetics last longer, but carnauba looks better imo

Look up AmmoNYC on Youtube. Larry knows his crap and has made tons of videos.

Wash microfibers with detergent only, no fabric softener, and tumble dry on low/no heat. If it's from walmart, autozone, etc.....throw it away. Those are only good for wheels.

I try to clay my car twice a year, in the spring after winter and in the fall before winter. Waxes last 4-6 weeks, while sealants can last 4-6 months, maybe longer.

Wash the wheels and wheel wells, wash the car, dry the car, clay bar, polish, seal then wax is the way I usually do it if I don't compound.

Edited lol

Why sealant on top of wax? The oils in the wax make the sealant bond poorly to the paint. It's supposed to be the other way, if you want to do both

Sealant should always be the first thing applied after claying and compounding a car.

Sealant > Glaze > Wax. Glaze is optional for maximum shine, but not needed.
