No, Chevrolet is NOT bringing back the El Camino. Go to Chevrolet's website and look at upcoming vehicles, no El Camino.

That was a Pontiac concept, right before GM killed the brand. Who knows, maybe this re-imagined version will show up here again...

Chevy doesn't put all upcoming vehicles up there.
But thank you for the info.

Cause Chevrolet ISN'T going to bring back the El Camino in the US. NOR will you see it exported from Australia and rebadged. Chevrolet's line up stands as it is now on what is offered and the only future vehicles are the Bolt, Trax and Cruze hatchback.

It's not going to happen, but it almost did before GM took the Ax to Pontiac 5-6 Years ago

As much as I want it to come here to the states, I highly doubt it will.

That being said, GM is dissolving Holden and bringing Chevy to Australia instead. I'm hoping most of the Holden design execs are getting jobs in Chevy USA, so HOPEFULLY they will be bringing Australian designs to the USA.

I'd dump my Camaro for a SSV Ute in half a heartbeat.

I highly doubt if there will be an El Camino, if the Chevy SSR couldn`t make it with only 24,150 produced in total from 2003-06 due to low demand then I don`t think there is a very big demand for that type of vehicle now either.

The SSR was priced in corvette territory.

The 2003-04 were not only overpriced (Corvette territory) but were overweight and under-powered, the 05-06 got a little bit better in the power dept. but by that time it was too late.
