Hrmmmmm. We have no events scheduled for that weekend. Maybe I could head over on Friday, find somewhere to stay(hope hotels aren't ridiculously packed) and come back Sunday morning or evening. might even be able to talk Sam aka Ace into making the travel too, although it would be near a 7 hour drive for him. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm oncall that week and trying to get it swapped with someone on my team. The racing is awesome with about 20 different classes it seems. Also, you want to enter the car show. Cost of entering the car show, and general admission is the same.. difference is that you get to keep an eye on your car, along with packing it full of food and drinks. The car show is at the main grand stands. |

@those that are familiar with heel toe:
do you incorporate it into your daily driving, or is it something only to be used on a track? whats the difference between heel toeing and regular downshift tev matching? and lastly, do you press the breaks first then engage the clutch/switch gears and rev match or all done simultaneously? |

It's all being done so quickly I'd consider it simultaneously. But there are plenty of videos you can find online to help you learn. As for incorporating it into daily driving, I wouldn't worry about it in my opinion. Heel toeing is meant more to save your transmission from a hard downshift. Only thing you would need to worry about while DD is rev matching for the best feel of shifts. The difference is that when you heel toe you are using the brakes to slow down the vehicle first, instead of the transmission slowing it down in normal downshifting. Mmm...Taco Bell...
A friend of mine once introduced the concept of dunking the bean burritos into the nacho cheese sauce. Bad times were had.

thanks for the tips. been struggling to hit the breaks + bliping the throttle at the same time (any advice for camaros??). but ill just use regular downshift for city driving. definitely a technique id love to master though.

What size foot do you have? I can do it easily, but I wear a 13 so I just have to roll my foot over
