I had a 2007 Audi A4 2.0T with the APR multi program software, lowered, tinted and nice wheels. The APR tune had 91 and 94 octane and valet mode and there were 2 more programs available. Over all after the APR tuning was installed it was a great car. The seats were ok, sound system was good but the all wheel drive was really fun to drive. It had a small gas tank which was annoying. The other thing to watch out for is the direct injection system and the sludge issues that come with it. Audi only offers a 70,000 km warranty, at least in Canada any ways. So I traded the audi in on the camaro right at 70k km's lol. A couple of pics:

Bought a 2015 Cadillac SRX 4 with premium package,
got all the bells and whistles, Spoiled the Wife. Really nice automoble, just not my style. |

IMHO I just bought an "entry level" luxury sports coupe. The 2LT/2SS has a very nice interior with more features stock than a lot of loaded luxury cars. I know you aren't asking about the 2016 but, you should check one out.
And, as far your car choice goes. DRIVE WHATEVER THE HELL YOU WANT and can afford. I see a lot of people who are "fake rich" driving around in their poverty spec Merc/Audi/BMW acting all pretentious and self important. There are a lot of truly rich people who drive around a 20 year old Toyota Corolla - they don't seem to care about the image they portray. Bottom line for me is having a car that is engaging and that I can enjoy driving. I tried to be a little more economical with my last car and really didn't like it. For some people a vehicle is nothing more than an appliance. For others it is a status symbol. Then there's us....sports car guys. We want a car that is fast and fun. Buy the car that you want. Not what your friends think you should be driving.

Did you read my earlier post? C6 corvettes are awesome! I really miss mine but it's just not practical with a wife and son. My corvette wasn't a daily car but it sucked having a nice car that has to sit in the garage every time we went somewhere together.

I'm 24 and I bought my camaro as I've always loved them ever since the 5th gen came out(love 3rd gens too) and I had to replace a 2011 328I Vert I had that gave me loads of problems in the year or so I owned it. I loved everything about it, just wasn't quick enough.
I had the camaro for about two months and put almost 5K miles on it before deciding to buy a second vehicle to offset mileage (I do a ton of driving) and I ended up picking up a jeep. I got a really good deal on the jeep which is why I bought it but man did I hate that thing. 4 months into ownership with 3500 miles on the odometer I had catastrophic engine failure & it was replaced. Needless to say I drove it straight down to the dealership and traded it in when I got it back. I love the Audi and the Camaro. It honestly is a tough decision to pick which car to drive, but if I had to choose one it'd be the camaro and I wouldn't have to think twice about it. I bought the Audi to do most of my driving in as I drive 30-40k miles a year. Luxury cars are there for a different reason, unless of course you're buying a performance luxury car, but they are expensive as hell to maintain. Even my A4 costs a ton to maintain, I do basic things like oil/brakes, but I had to replace my first tire a month into ownership and it cost me more per tire than the camaro.

Foreign cars cost a lot to maintain maintenance wise. Hell the performance parts are ridiculous! My dream car is a Ferrari 488 GTB, but ten times out of ten to work on it myself would be NEVER, as I would have to go to the dealership. If I can't work on it myself on majority of the maintenance I would pass on buying foreign. But to each its own in what they want to drive.

The CTS-V 2nd Generation was the redemption car for Cadillac (and dare I say GM). It was the best of all or most things automotive: Combining the technological advances of GM, with the brute force and the great soundtrack of the legendary v8, and with very good luxury features and better than average fit and finish. The CTS V put both Mercedes and BMW on notice that GM is now playing for keeps! While we don't necessarily own the ultra exotic market (Rolls Royce, Bentley, Ferrari), for the most part GM has gained newfound respect with their improved car lines in the Cadillac, Buick and Chevrolet lines. This is one of those rare times that I actually would prefer a Chevrolet, Cadillac or GM truck over a typical Japanese or European luxury vehicle.
If you value content, engineering and performance then this is a great time to buy an American car, as it seems that there is a lot to choose from. American cars still have a way to go in order to compete more soundly with the "Status" set, but for pure automotive content and performance I feel that GM, and to a broader extent, Ford and Chrysler have what it takes to satisfy my wants in terms of a high content vehicle.
