That's INSANE! I've never heard of a tire blowout coming close to totaling a car! I wonder if it would have done that on the road if he had been doing a high speed run? Or if the reduced contact patch of the dyno drum had something to do with it?

Could be tough to prove though. Guy said he had the car for about a month, of course we don't know if it was bought new or used, but chances are those the tires it came with, so who knows? |
