It all depends on your down-payment and credit score. But for a ball park figure I'm paying just below $200 a month.

I had a non-turbo Cruze and absolutely loved it. It was a little sluggish on power even for a six-speed but I still miss it.
I lowered it with 1.2" drop springs and it handled very well on back roads as well as interstates. I was averaging 32-36 mpg too. Drop Springs, 19% tint and some new 18" wheels they can actually look rather impressive. Let the modding begin! |

Why are you guys saving your Camaros? My Camaro is my daily driver and it's as pristine as you can get. I could never understand the logic in owning a nice car like a Camaro only to have it locked away in the garage while putzing around in a 4cyl penalty box or Camcordpala bland mobile. These cars are made to be driven so let's drive them folks.

The Cruze's are nice. I have a 2013 RS with the 1.4 Turbo as my DD. I'll be getting a new one come August. Great car, great MPG too.

Congrats bro! Too many haters on the board.
I think you made a good decision. That's a cheap car that won't depreciate terribly (as opposed to the LTZ for ex) and you can bank on reliability. It's tough to find a truly reliable and gas-friendly car under 8k anyways. |
