So Zabo you need to prepare yourself for the Mustang to be much more expensive than it is today. Those upgrades aren't without cost.

I would expect Ford was forced to do this, particularly for the base car. And I don't disagree, if the rumored 400 HP materializes in the smaller more cramped Mustang, it would be a pretty quick package......................but still not a Camaro.
Oh, no I don't. I know to expect prices matching the LS/LT/SS ranges per package (if not more). What the Camaro doesn't have over the Mustang in my case is an Employee discount.

Recall my last 'swing' toward the blue oval. Z-plan got me a base GT for 26.6K where MSRP on that car was 30.9K and change.

To boost the base near say 33.9K (from 28.9K) like many have said would still put the Mustang at 29.9K abouts for me. Chop another 3K off that and 'hypothetically' I'd have a Coyote for that same 26K. This is why I'm willing to go for a Mustang. Now, if there were some slash and burn price cuts on the '10 SS toward May/June of 2010 and the 60/40 constraints didn't kill what chances I already had (I could go on.. greedy dealers, gotta have it people, etc.) on the hottest car in the US, then I could reconsider..

I just don't see that happening though. I just don't.

Then again, there's also the fact that it all may be a moot argument and I won't have a job post grad. Which looking at the current figures and the industry as it is.. could be a major possibility.

You could get Supplier Pricing on a Camaro through any GM family...

And unless anyone here at Camaro5 would be willing to extend that privilege to me I would graciously accept it. However, I highly doubt such a thing would happen.

Not to mention as stated before, the market for jobs isn't looking to hot for me. And a Camaro, let alone a new vehicle would be the least of my concerns when the Explorer works perfectly fine as is.

We would.

I'm sure Number 3 would too, but I can't speak for him.

I figured you'd say that (and I really appreciate that you and yours would consider extending that to me, Fen). If I could get the car, I would have to rub it in my brother's face.. which means it would probably be at the DTS house on campus. Here's to hoping that I can find a paying job that can support me getting a Camaro, or for that matter a Mustang .

Oh, hay guise.. look. MY SIG WAS RIGHT!
