It has no steering wheel. Why would I want a car that I can't drive? There appears to be approximately no suspension travel, so it would ride extremely rough. Hub-motors are going to substantially increase the unsprung weight, hurting ride and handling even more. And can someone please explain what the point in opening the roof with the rear doors is (and by extension, opening both rear doors every single time you want to open one)?

Sorry ... when I see a 'fantasy concept' like that, I can't get over how terrible a car it would be.

Please, enlighten me as to the usefullness of having the roof open in order to get in or out of the back of the car? How does that improve upon the current practice of keeping roof & door completely separate.

I simply don't automatically equate words 'futuristic' with 'better' or 'radical design' with 'cool'. Call that a lack of vision if you want. As far as I'm concerned, it just means that I've outgrown Hotwheels.

Concept cars can push the envelope, thats fine. Thats what they're there for. Its when they push it so hard that the envelope flies off the table & out the window that I roll my eyes.

"Futuristic" for me does not equate to "the greatest car on earth". It means that there is nothing currently produced like it in the market today. I agree that these concept vehicles push the envelope, that's the point. Sure, it looks like there's room for improvement, regarding safety issues. Nevertheless, it's an awesome looking car. Open your mind a little!

Maybe like i Robot, just override the system to manually drive the car. Some ppl don't like to drive or cant.
The opening is to be different. Similar to vertical/lambo or suicide doors. Another car for example Mercedes SLS AMG / Delorean. The cars with glass roof. Some ppl can argue why would I want glass above me to fall down.

Anyways I see cars are moving away from actually driving. Its going to be more about luxury & being driven, making it as safe and less human error. Also cars are becoming more like living rooms. You can have a fridge with wine and a massage with heat while watching a movie while cruising to your destination.

Here is another video.
