I just don't get it.. (Mustang Crash)

How somebody gets a car like this, and doesn't understand the simple concept of counter-steering? Discuss!

Plus when he was completely sideways and hitting the truck he was still on the gas.

actually, he did counter steer - a little - wheels pointed right at the back of the truck.

that's the hitch, you can back off and hit the fat pedal. yet, must be a panic thing? I also believe people turn off the nannies to get a smokey burn out, but they do it so little they don't realize how quickly things go sideways, literally, when the electronics are off.

Edit: ya know, tail goes left then starts to go right, plenty of time to shut it down.

I didn't notice that. Had there been a passenger in that car, there would've been some serious consequences to them.

I didn't see the wheels turn, it looked to me like the wheels stayed straight relative to the car almost the entire time. ridiculous, bad control on the drivers part. And you're right, there was plenty of time to stop the burnout and get it right again. We can't all be Sketchy vert, but still.

This is common with to much horsepower and not enough brains.

I've seen way too many videos like this. Absolutely zero driving skill. And those idiots always have an excuse, like it wasn't their total lack of sense or ability that caused it.

X2 - Scratch 1 Shelby! I just noticed that someone was in the Dodge pickup with the brakes applied. He had to see the Shelby out of control. I wonder why he didn't hit the gas and get out of the way?

Also, a complete IDIOT to do that with that many vehicles parked on the road!
