So here's the "FUN" part of my job. Twice a year we invite customers to our assembly plant in VA. We have our own Customer Experience Track where they can drive our trucks without a CDL License. There's a paved track which is 1.1 miles and a dirt track for vocational trucks with a 27 degree incline and 27 degree downhill grade. Also, a lot of uneven rough rock terrain & red slick clay. Lots of FUN playing with a semi in the mud!

What a totally yucky day. I managed to see a few kids but got drenched in the process. The rain is outs here now & we had a really pretty sunset. Headed out to exercise after work. Did a mile on the track, dance/exercise class then abs class. I'm tired now.

Jan - I know this is a tough time for you........keep strong. It's hard to be that sandwich generation, and I know how hard it is to have a son deployed. Is this the first time he's going to Iraq?

I don't think I'm going to "like" either one of you very much when you complain about your weather. My hope is a trip to Florida in March for bike week, and a little time there after. Have a friend in Daytona so I might go some other time too................

This is his first deployment at all. He has been very lucky to be attached to a non-deploying unit that was in charge of training others to deploy & testing/preparing equipment. But when you are attached to the 101st, you deploy a lot. Some of our friends have deployed over & over to the point of ridiculous.

Good morning. Dry but foggy here this morning. Supposed to get really cold by the weekend. Dread that. I'm getting sick. Sore throat. Hope it is not strep. It has been going around. Right not no distinctive strep signs but need to watch it closely. HAGD all.

I love Daytona Beach - My wife and I have talked about buying a condo on the beach and retiring there. But that's quite a few years down the road.......

It is supposed to not get out of the mid 40's on Sunday. We have an event at a local dealership to celebrate the arrival of the 2016 Camaros. Luckily we will be able to escape into the dealership. It was a busy day but I got all my notes done at school after the kids left. Home & done by 5:00 even after doing some shopping for food for a couple of events I need to bring food to. The first tomorrow the pot luck Thanksgiving meal at the school.

Home & settled into the couch. I did not feel up to exercising this evening. I had a low grade temp this morning but back close to normal tonight. Still have a sore throat & mild cold. Guess I don't need to visit my dad this weekend. I hate to skip it but a little cold & sore throat to me could be fatal to him. Have a good weekend crew.

It's been a busy week for me! Got back from Phoenix Monday afternoon, drove to Columbia, SC on Tuesday, drove back to Jacksonville Wednesday, drove to Charleston, SC & back Thursday, drove to Okeechobee, FL & back today, and leaving for the Homestead race tomorrow (hope we have better weather than Phoenix). Glad I'm on ETO all next week!!!
