Some may say, it's just a Focus.

But it might just sting a little more if you're beaten by just a Focus.

This focus will take any v6 camaro out and probably keep up just fine on the twisties

On account of the clutch packs in the rear?

If love to read more about this AWD system, seems a lot like the SH-AWD. Got a link?

The focus is a huge POS. It's fine for a cheap grocery getter. My mother in law has probably the lowest mile 2012 Focus SE around (1300 miles on it) and I can't get over how cheap it's assembled and how cheesy some of the materials are. There's hardly any difference between the 2015 Focus and the 2012.

350 HP will NOT help this car. No way no how. Will it be fun? Maybe. But who the hell is going to buy it? People wanting cheap cars buy the Focus because they're cheap. If you can afford the performance, Focus isn't going to be it.

But what do you expect for a 20K car?

Just saw the price tag...36K? Ride in a Focus and I can guarantee you that you'll be putting your 36K into something else.

I've had two 2015 Focus rentals and both were utter pieces of sh*t.

so much hate on the Focus I mean, its not like the 5th gen Camaro was the cream of the crop in terms of interior quality. This is my ST that I'm currently selling to make room for the 2016 1SS I ordered. While I agree 36-39k is a lot to pay for a Focus, its also a lot to pay for an Impreza or a Golf. Subaru's interior quality is MUCH worse than the Focus.

The focus RS has a heritage behind it.

Do some reading on it before you spout nonsense.

The focus has been a massive letdown with all of the trans issues they have had.

None of which made it into this car.

Here is a good thread for you. Scooby is one of the developers of the system.

It all depends on how much power the AWD system can handle. The same 2.3 in the Mustang has been responding very well to modifications, much better than the 2.0 in the ST.

Car is marketed to boy racers. This car will appeal to 20 somethings. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. Personally, I need a little class and sophistication to my sports car. The Focus RS is in line with STI's and Evo's. Bet for a hot hatch this thing will be a monster on the track. Watch out VW R's and STI's.

From what I read it is pushing 21lbs of boost!

This small light hatchback is going to eat v6 camaros for lunch (see sig). I have no problems or issues conceding defeat to a super hot hatch.

But, since I'm dumping my GTI with a tiny turbo and tons of maintenance issues I have to question what type of problems an extremely high strung 2.0L turbo on 21 lbs of boost is going to have?

*2.3

the K03 in the ST's 2.0 hits 21lbs from the factory, no issues at all.

Remember that time you didn't know what you were talking about?

Yeah that'd be right now.
