What I don't understand about all of this is, if you have a spectator fatality at a race track, shouldn't your solution be to prohibit spectators from the area where the spectator was struck (and all similar locations) instead of banning cars from going fast on a track that's designed for cars to...you know...go fast?

Don't spectate on the outside of a corner for starters. Those that do, are often photographers looking for crash photos.

I went to the ring when I was in Germany and it is incredible in person. Losing lap times and imposing speed limits sucks. The ring is iconic. I am a diehard motor sports fan so I guess it means more to me than others hah.
