Yea, I'm a black male it's crazy the color of the person because how clear cut the wrongful doing is. Racism is still a problem but a person shouldn't use what he does for a living to show it by killing the person. Plus we all know what's clear cut and what is not.

Agree , I am white about same age ,and I know if I had ran , there is no way a white cop would of shot me 6 times in the back ,

do you think they believe they can get away with it because they feel the majority of law enforcement is too lenient? to me, it seems most people who break the law believe most cops won't, or can't touch you unless you threaten the cops life. So if every cop in America started to beat all criminals, I believe it would cut down on crime. Not saying I believe that's what should happen, just saying I think it would reduce crime.

Also not saying it would eliminate all crime. obviously not.

There may be some truth in that. Violent crimes in the US have been on a decline since 1991. I still feel like many criminals (let's just say robbers) are driven to their illegal actions by need though they might indeed spend their bounty mostly on bs. If you go beating every robber to within an inch of their life it still won't eliminate the need that drove them to robbery in the first place.

The problem with police brutality is that most cops are lead to believe their actions are justified because the system usually backs them up. The referent for "protect and serve" used to be the American public, but it seems that it now refers to "government interests". This is a truly ugly and difficult situation we're in and it's hard to say what the right way is through this. But thankfully, we've now got a pervasion of shaky smart phone cameras out in public to silently record the truth.

Lol... Yea, I don't like how you can just get banned without anyone finding out if you was trying to attack/ insult a person or just was misunderstood and got caught up in the hoopla . I think the ppl that was involved should have to come to an understanding , not just ban a person but I guess. The 6th Gen forum does get crazy and I was banned from on there too. Lol... Oh, well. Yea, I always wondered why the (Serve and protect) isn't on the side of the car anymore. Plus , I agree , that the judge just lets the bad police get away with anything.

the problem is when they get their hands on the wrong guy. that's why we have trials. The cop in SC had tazed a guy a couple years ago WHO WAS THE WRONG GUY he was looking for.

and the cops who beat the horse thief, talk about brains: they had a news helicopter hovering over head.

What does that matter? If the wrong guy knew he did nothing wrong, is he being unreasonable in questioning what the cop was doing with him?
Also from what I have been seeing lately the cops aren't asking people to do things , they are yelling out multiple orders in rapid succession that nobody can keep up with. I do now feel safer that the guy with the broken taillight is off the streets now(sarcasm of epic proportion).

The horse thief beating was just stupid and shows the gang mentality of the police that were involved. The thief laid out spread eagle to surrender, got tazed, spread his arms out again, then placed them behind his back and then the cops just started beating on him and the rest literally came running in to get a few kicks and punches in. Like wolves attacking a wounded deer. Completely unnecessary as he had given up.
