Saw a hellcat being hauled to a dealer today

275-wide tires on 9.5" wide wheels really isn't enough even for the much lighter and far less powerful Mustang. I'm thinking at least 305's at both ends is the narrowest it should have been given, maybe 315's just to "one-up" the Z/28.

Unless, of course, the intent all along was to make the smoke shows even easier to come by and the resulting tire bills a little lower.

I don't have that much hp.....but I sure wont back down from the challenge..thats the fun part about it. If we live life based on what 'should' happen...we wouldnt try to do anything at all.

Or the tires are the fusible link to protect the drivetrain. Put on drag radials and you break the drive shaft. Put in a stronger drive shaft and break the... Poof goes the warranty

This car is obviously having no problems hooking up if you've seen some of these 60 ft times they're pulling. Dodge did their research with their LC.

1.8 60 ft times is damn good for that size tire and that much hp.

Charge 70k and make the drive train bulletproof. There problem solved.

Driver mod then, but there have been plenty of these out there. They may have ended up running the ZL1 down eventually, but it has 127 more factory horsepower. It should pull right out of the gate!

I'm going to have to say that you are wrong when you say this car has no problem hooking up, I've watched countless videos and these cars have problems hooking up. 700 hp with 275 tires. I can almost guarantee if you looked up cars with that much horsepower none of them have tires that small.
