Don't be too sure of what happens in the comics is what will happen in the show. Maybe for a loose storyline perhaps, but one thing we can all agree about is the group is not 100% safe.

Excellent points. However you are applying logic to an illogical situation AND Hollywood. For example, when they first enter the gates, a walker approaches. The gates are closed, the walker is no real threat. Rick has Sasha shoot the walker.... Correct me if I am wrong, but this is supposed to take place during the zombie apocalypse, and Wal-Mart, Dick's, and Bass Pro are all closed right? So nobody is selling ammo, and it would be a severely limited commodity. and you can reload a tomahawk/hammer/baseball bat/crowbar. Again, just nit picking, but physics on this show really likes to play fast and loose. Especially with headshots- Let's see: 1.) Moving, albeit slowly, but still mobile 2.) (Usually) moving shooter 3.) (often) shooting one handed 4.) Improbable distances of over 25 yards 5.) Non customized 1911 pistols. Additionally, they clearly explained, and even showed in an MRI what happens after infection- your brain dies, with only the stem being active. If only the stem is active, why does ANY head wound or trauma immediately kill any zombie. I call shenanigans. Also, if only the stem is active, resulting in only the most basic drives being active... But the zombies do not hump everything in sight... Also, The zombies clearly suffer from rot and cellular degeneration, yet their eyes remain fully intact and functional.

![]() Of course, we all know this is true because there are books, TV shows and movies to verify the evidence. And you don't buy ammo in the zombie apocalypse. You TAKE it. I'm sure there was a Wal-Mart or two they stopped by on the way to Alexandria that didn't make the scenes. And Sasha had to put down that zombie or he'd be outside the gate moaning and bumping into the gate all night long. Who could sleep with all that racket? You get good at saving ammo by shooting once and done. Saves filming time as well. Very few times has any of the gang "missed" the mark. The group got lucky when the good Dr. at the CDC clued them in on what happens to the zombie brain when they die. Note that some others shot up a lot of ammo and the "rotters" and "skin eaters" still kept coming at them. Why? They didn't shoot them in the head! I'm sure if anyone had watched zombie shows/movies prior to the apocalypse would have already known this. Sometimes watching mindless entertainment could later save your life. We, of course, already know this. Also, since zombies don't breathe, how do they moan? How do they use the stuff they eat to regenerate the stem cells that keep them "alive"? Never saw them drinking water to keep their soft tissue/mucous membranes from drying out. Yet blood gushes out of them and flows down the curbs by the quart. Use the lessons that politics give us. There does NOT have to be a scientific reason that these things exist or happen the way they do. When it doesn't fit the storyline, just make it up and improvise and for God's sake, don't allow transparency or people will figure you out. If you're looking for realism, turn off the TV and go out to the garage. Myself? I'll continue to enjoy the #1 show on cable TV (at least for the moment).

Don't think of the people in Alexandria as being psychos luring the group in to a trap. They've rolled out the red carpet and want them to stay, why?
What is Alexandria lacking that the group has? They seem to have everything but what can't they do? Carl said it, Rick said it, Carol said it. "They're weak!" Hmmm....I wonder what's out there. |

Except we have no idea how long they've been following them. They may know she's lying.

The previous episode showed the crew outside the compound gate where they heard the sounds and laughter of children playing inside...remember their talk about how no sounds were heard at the other "bad" places?.....
...but then when they enter in the latest episode, which picks up where the other left off, no sounds, no kids inside the gate.... yet they still go in...what's up with that?... |
