I conceal every minute of every day, less in uniform. Always good to see people checking other laws outside of their areas before just going to them
Thanks. I have OWB carried there before with a shirt covering. Now I carry with an IWB holster.

In Mass you can only carry concealed. Was nice to walk around with a firearm on your hip and not worry about exposing it.

Yeah a lot of Kansas is open carry but I still conceal my XDs IWB and I love it. Now when I go to the range, I carry on my thigh, I draw faster so that's where I like it.

I took my son (13) to the indoor range today. He got a Remington Rim-fire 22 bolt action for Christmas though he actually got it before thanksgiving. I took my single six, 9 & 45. We had a blast and because the sun was shining and other people were there before us the heat was on and the building warm. (downrange is unheated so it can be really cold on the hands)

Good day for us, bad day for the paper targets.

Working on an 80% 1911 frame from Tactical Machining. My Wilson Combat parts kit showed up today. I hope to start fitting the parts this weekend.

So I'm starting to look into building my first AR. Looking to build it myself so I can save some money plus I need something to do. If anyone has any tips that would be good!

So far I'm looking at stripped lowers right now just to get that bit started. Gun will be used for defense and hunting. Very excited to start this project! I know it'll be a difficult one but I'm up for a challenge

Keep in mind you will need some tools for building. I have built several AR's so the tools made it worthwhile. If you are just building one it may not be worthwhile to build it yourself. Not sure what tools you have on hand right now, you may not need much or you may need several.

Yeah I've got to look into it a little more to see the tools I need but I know I'd do more than one for sure so it could be worth it.

Some of the tools are cheap like a punchs, roll pin punches, gun smith hammer.

Some are not like a torque wrench, AR multi tool, etc.

Yeah I will need the punches, pins, hammer, and the multi tool. Still researching. Some lowers could be cheaper fully assembled.
