The cold air intake is, the throttle body is 1" bigger. So, that is something I need to address sooner or later. I'll probably switch to the ls3 blade style once I get some other odds and ends solved.

I saw the engine bay pic in your build thread and just thought... thats not right. lol

could be leaving some power on the table... or... could have a weird effect of creating a venturi system and actually increasing air speed through the intake.

highly unlikely, but possible.


is the TB dia the same as the MAF?

Nope, TB is 1" smaller just like the rest. I will almost bet money that I start pulling vacuum above 6K. So, I'll have to modify.. I think I can custom do a full 4" setup. I just need to take the time to do so.

believe it or not, a good friend of mine from KY used to run a 4" pvc intake system on his 97Z28
