its all good. a while back, (before this thread surpassed the 40k post mark) it was a lot easier to re-read thru this thread. now its a challenge to stay up to date after 1 day of being gone.

Yo Ho's , Hiya Spike and I am sorry that I took you wrong , but to me you quite often seem to come off as better then most on here or I should say that I felt like that was the vibe you were giving off and for me it started with the Quality , quantity discussion and when I read your post that I have quoted below it just hit a nerve and sure seemed you were putting newbies down and I do consider myself a newbie and have a lot of newbie friends . While I'm at it and we are getting things out , about that reading the 1'st PWA , Shunt who is greg norris , and all of this one as well , which I have done btw , that is hardly inviting to new members who might want to hang out here , in fact unless they have a photographic memory I highly doubt anyone would be able to retain even a quarter of what they read , chit I have a hard time remembering what was said 3 days ago and to be able to find something to quote from back a ways would be next to impossible , Maybe it's time to drop that silly rule just a thought . So I have no hard feelings if you don't and yes the tech. stuff is cool but like I said that's why there are sites for those and thats a good thing for anyone who is into all the tech. stuff , but there are a lot of us who prefur just shooting the bull and the comraddery of the banter , I for one feel right at home here and truely find it to be a release from all the crap the world throws at ya and yes tech stuff on here is cool too but not if it's going to alienate ppl who are less knowlegable and make them feel as they don't belong . I feel this thread is meant to be a lose fun place , again maybe I am wrong , but I don't think so . So Spikey I ya man and here's a big KISS No hard feelings here and hope not on your part

I'm still kinda lost on whats going on? which post (or posts) are we talking about/looking at? I didnt mean any disrespect. if its about the serious discussion vs the randomness, I just wanted to bring back some of the other stuff we used to do around here. not trying to say that its anyones fault that we dont have the "tech talks" we used to. we have a lot of members that have left over the last year or two and a lot of new members that have joined our ranks. I have no hard feelings towards anyone. I know I can be brash about things sometimes, but I dont single people out. I treat everyone the same way, noobs, veterans, whores, mods, admin, Shunt, Fbod, everyone.

everything has its place here. I have no problem with the randomness, but I also enjoy discussions about physics, fluid dynamics, 6 cycle engines, black holes, airplanes on treadmills (actually, thats an old one), and just about anything else there is. not knocking the randomness at all. or the quantity of the randomness. thats what this thread and the previous one was made for. its almost like a chatroom if one can keep up to speed with it. I just like to learn about new things and discuss things and pass on what knowledge I have on to others and take what knowledge from them I can so that I may be able to help someone else down the road. I know we debated the quality/quantity issue a while back, I wasnt trying for it to be a competition, just trying to offer another view on it. most topics, I can go either way on and will often pick the less liked side to argue for.


dont leave if you feel im singling you out or criticizing you about something. pm me about it and find out. I honestly had no idea that this was brooding. and as soon as I opened the PW thread to my last post in here last night, I multiquoted these posts and skipped to the last page (sorry everyone else for not reading and replying, but this takes precedence). shoot me a pm or point me to the posts that are in question so we can clear this issue up.

And PS I would of did this in a PM but am to stupid to know how to Quote from the Thread to the pm and besides was my mistaking your meaning and was all in public so I thought it best I publicly apologise as well

Thats exactly what I average

Let me clarify. I drive about 5 miles each way to/from work. I take a few trips a year down to the keys so that adds 1k or so of miles.
