Also, how good is the i3 processor in those? Good for streaming video and video conference calls for school?

Sorry, I haven't. I have used the XPS 12 and 13 though if you end wanting to know about those. As for the i3, those are generally okay for web browsing and little multi taking. Personally if it was me, I would try to get a device with the I5 if possible.

One thing I Will say is that now that jewel is a college student again you might qualify for a discount at Best buy. I know my best buy offers a discount on select devices this time of the year to students.

Does it work great for streaming video? That is my main concern right now. I need video chat available for my lectures so the students and professors can see me.

I am about 95% sure I want a desktop.

Also right now Dell is having a deal, by a desktop and get a tablet for $99.

I have an HP with an i7. Basically maxed out every option. Cost me a pretty penny but it's running a hell of a lot better than my godforsaken Mac did.
