Factor in the reality that the GT500 is faster both stock and modded and the night and day difference in handling between the two the Terminators really shouldn't be demanding the money that they do IMO.

If Termy's were cheaper I would likely feel different since value is always a factor, but right now the price tags attached to these things still makes me prop up an eyebrow.
You really have no idea about these cars. Yes, they may be quicker stock, but they were also given more horsepower. Give me the difference in cash and the cobra will absolutely eat it alive. I mean alive. These cars have been tested with the same modifications, or around the same amount of horsepower and the cobra has won every time basically. You also need to learn what a sn95 is. Not just that but for what the cobra is, it handles great. Do your research skipper. These cars are worth every dime.

Well, that was 2 years ago. Probably either got rid of it now or have something else setup on that frankenstang.
The real deal is the best thing. I can't afford to buy a 03-04 right now, well...I possibly could...but if I were to buy one right now I'd just get a 99' svt cobra, build the engine up, all basic bolt ons, and put a 3.4 whipple on it. That'd be a play toy though. I am not going to though.

don't know about that... the shelby's imo are better all around. terms are good no doubt, but i don't think the stock IRS will hold up to the kind of power both cars are capable of (600 + on stock internals, capable of much more than that even). on the other hand, the Shelby has the solid rear that i think is bulletproof for the most part and with just a few upgrades you can put that power to the ground real easy. the cobra is lighter because the SN95 is a lighter overall platform but i think the shelby overall is the better ride... still don't know why terms are priced where they're at still but lately i've seen them coming down in price to high teens... they were priced mid to low 20s for awhile. i'd rather go with the Shelby if i had the money. slicks, control arms, pulley swap, cai and tune and that's enough for me... plus i prefer the looks... i like both cars though

high teens, low miles might be worth a shot though... don't know if i'd pay 25K for a term that has 30K miles, 18 - 19K is a different story

Haha, look at that interior t is horrific!!! Nasty is the only thing I can say sorry. Like mentioned above an SS moded slightly will give you a much more effetient ride with a million times better looking interior and exterior.

The current generation mustangs are just better overall in all non-performance categories. They are larger, more comfortable, feel more solid and poised, better interior, and IMO look better. Pretty much fixing everything I did not like in the previous Gen, unless you are strictly looking for a track car and never drive the darn thing on the road.

Yea except the Supra's are just dyno queens. The Terminators had track times to back up their dyno numbers.

I don't know many cars that have 500hp that can do 10.2's with a good driver on stock tires at the track. The Cobra will hand most cars its ass. I also don't know many cars that can do 170+ in 5th gear when it has 6. Yes, I have personally seen this happen.

Like I said let's settle it on the track..cuz those numbers you are spouting..I am turning those times naturally aspirated...put up or shut up..let the big dogs play... I'm not talking about what I seen..I'm talking about what I do..ain't no bench racing here.
