Like I said, maybe this will open some doors for team Dodge....that would be a good thing.

I agree. They did a great job with the ZL1 tho! Looks mean as hell! Just should have thrown a LS9 in there. GT500's are gorgeous cars too. Imo the top trim levels of all 3 are pretty damn close in the looks department. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just stop. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lF55y2W-Ms8 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QsPZQ7c8jCw Hit 200 mph over 2 years ago. http://www.challengertalk.com/forums...as-mile-75267/ You said nothing about a street car. They have 8 sec chargers that are street cars for crying outloud. Is that enough to edge you by a bumper? Ignorance is bliss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You clearly said no modded dodge can beat your car. Even said the run whatever you got world. That world consists of full blown race cars if thats what the person has. You said nothing about street cars. Funny how claims change on the fly. So again. Your car must be quicker than 7 seconds right? Since 7 sec cars indeed exist in the "run whatever you got" world... They basically won the muscle car wars if Chevy or Ford don't compete with the Hellcat.

Doubt GM. will answerback 700hp. But the new engines GM has been building are not about peak power. But more usable power under the curve. Like the new LT1 it's only 460 hp but has the same horsepower and a little bit more torque as the mighty LS7 up to around 4K RPM.
I bet the hellcat in this vehicle will be roll racing monster. But just like the GT500 it will get smoked or 90% of the time where racing actually occurs. To pass emissions standards they must of did an excellent job with this motor. I would like to see this motor in a half ton reg cab Dodge truck four-wheel-drive! But the hopefully the lighter 6 gen comming out with the motor out of the new ZO6 will give this more of a race the hellcat would like in a straight line. Plus actually turn |

Lets see in the first video you posted, the car is running 1/8 miles in the videos. You can see at 2:21 of the first video he ran the 1/8 mile at 7.30. I'm sorry but that does not impress me. I think I could beat that by more than a bumper. Second video Mojave mile. I didn't comment on that. Third is a link to a post that says someone did 200.9 on 3-24-12. I looked it up and the run does exist on the Texas mile archives. Perhaps the dodge owners I talked to at the mile this spring were unaware of the record or maybe I did not understand. Regardless if you check the records, no Dodge was faster than my car this spring. That was my point when I first commented and if you look at the same archive where your Challenger did a whopping 200.9 you see a 2010 Camaro did 243.2. You are on a Camaro forum and in case you didn't know it. Camaro is still king in the unlimited racing world. GM is just too easy to modify.
