Yep! Already has in threads and car deliveries on here.

Guess can't go test drive one for fun. Such a stupid recall. I hope when I finally get another one the old style is still there or I have a choice. Ugh. This should be an optional recall. How close are people sitting to the steering wheels?

Dumbest recall ever. This rivals NHTSA making GM recall Camaros to replace the visor sticker.

For your knee to be anywhere near the ignition/key, you'd have to be practically on top of the steering wheel. And if you drive like that, your license should be recalled, not the car.

Amen! I remember that. But people are so stupid that those stickers are just legal matters to cover their asses.

Exactly!

Sighs gov't really has continued to mess with GM

They are just covering their ass in light of recent events. I seriously doubt many Camaro owners will do this one, but it does raise awareness of the problem.

haha, I was going to PM one of the mods to see how that's going.

Yep and I think GM is overreacting now. A small handful will because of uninformed or trying to keep warranties.

that's what happens. they'll overreact, and then a year from now they'll be dumb again and careless.

I see pretty close to my steering wheel because I have short legs, but I've never hit my keys.

All the mods need to just take the day off because we're gonna need their complete attention on C5 today.
