LOL, you would think. Oh well...it is what it is. I may yet at a Challenger to the stable...I was just disappointed in the handling, and maybe I expressed that too "vocally" on their site.

Well said, I've owned nothing but GM But I'm gearhead and don't mind talking about other makes. You said you spent two days on their site and you will never get it back.. I read the link you posted and I didn't last five minutes, We all feel the same about are camaros but here we tend to take other makes in stride. Took me a while to get why someone would come on a camaro site and talk mustang/challenger but thats what makes this site so different from the rest. You can come on here and talk Ford, Dodge, and even Imports and not get banned camaro5 very cool site

The bizzarre thing about challengertalk is that they (Challenger owners) start SO many Camaro threads...usually bashing it, but NOT always...and even the ones with a positive opening comment quickly become hateful and when you post ANYTHING positive about the Camaro you WILL be banned by their uber moderator.

I have never seen anything like it.

Wow you guys claiming this are kinda silly, so there have been a few problem with some people's L99 and now all of a sudden they are all slow? Love how just a few people have had problems and now the L99 is now slower then the LS3 although its the same exact engine with just a different components to better fuel mileage on it. The R/T can't hang with the manuals so why would you think the R/T can hang with the L99 when the difference between the manuals and automatic camaro is a tenth of a second?

Please stop generalizing everyone's L99 as slow because I have seen some local stock automatics run 12.9 to 13.3.

Yeah they were. keep in mind that I'm in Michigan and we have been having a very cool summer. Most nights the high is mid 60's but more times it's 55-60 degrees at night. So the weather and conditions have been great so far at the tracks.

Because The R/T with the stick puts down simialr rwhp to the l99 with AT

It does, but it has to haul more beef. All things being equal, an L99 should beat the R/T 6 speed consistently, especially since shifting that standard has a small margin for error.

Yeah this equals failed. Thats why most agree if the mustang GT was putting down similar or same power as the SS it would beat it because of the weight difference. Same here. And until I see a Chally R/T here in Michigan on the track run under a 13.7( lowest time I haven seen out of an R/T)because thats the best I have seen from them. I stand by my statement as you logic as incorrect.

hahah
I went over there just to see how ignorant they were being and the first forum I saw about a camaro was "Camaro is a girls car." I had to laugh and look at what they were all writing, and then I look to the left and I see a huge chevy ad on their challenger site and found out that they are just jealous...
