They do not have the RS on the headrest. If you have seen it on one, then someone has had it added to their car.

I'm fairly certain the 6th gen will have a V8. Maybe something with direct injection, and 8-speed transmission(s)?

Not sure about the 2014's, but 2010-13 didn't have them embroidered from the factory. There was a company that was embroidering them though.

Over the years I have come to realize that the sales folks at dealerships don't know s**t about the stuff they sell or what's in the pipeline...but who knows - maybe that guy has thrown so much s**t against the wall that something will stick. Personally, I just can't believe there won't be a V8 available. I doubt it would be restricted to Z28s, ZL1s and the like.

lol I could work at a dealership and know more about what's going on with the Camaro than them. last year I went up to the dealership and asked if they had the new Camaro on the lot yet because I wanted to see how different it looked. the guys said what are you talking about the Camaro doesn't look different. I said well the back is completely different and the front is also. the guys looked at me and asked if I was sure.... I got back in my Camaro and left without another word.
