I have a question... if I wanted to put the zl1 front bumper on my car is it as easy as just taking off my old LS one and putting on that one?

Pretty much, unless you want to shave down the cowl. Then there is the harness for the lights.

You will have to order fog lights, since the LS doesn't have them.

ah ok the reason I asked was my front bumper has taken a beating and it shows. I want to get a new bumper and have a protective coat put on it. I also want to get the RS headlights and fog lights. has anyone tried a clear protective coat on their bumper?

No but I wish I had. My front looks like it was sandblasted. Hope to have the whole car repainted in a few years. Its on my list.

When I get Ruby's paint touched up, stripes painted on & re-clearcoated, I am definately getting clearbra on the bumper & a few other vunerable spots.

That is a reason why I stopped washing my car myself and having the detailer do it. That and the fact we can't wash our own cars here in the valley.
