Centennial Corvette Wallpaper

This wasn't of a Camaro, so I figured I'd pop it into the other autos section...here.

I was toying around with Photoshop this evening, and came across these photos in 'My Pictures'. I fell for this concept car like I fell for the Camaro concept...Hard! Lemme know what you think.

P.S. I can send you the full 1440x900 image via email if you want it. For loading and forum purposes, I shrunk it here.

I love everything except the back end. Chop off the excess and it follows the corvette lines.

Ed Peper was asked during a webchat if this car would make production as the C7. He said no, that it was merely a design exercise. But, he commented and said he thought the C7 would look "even better".

So I came away with three things:
#1; GM design has Corvette on the brain...and this is a physical example of their thoughts.
#2; The C7 has started the design stages of development.
#3; this is an assumption, I think this car will be the foundation of the C7 Corvette. Some design cues will make production, others won't. And yet more still will be introduced.

IMHO, if they could find some way integrate the traditional Quad taillights and tone down the exhaust tips....It's perfect!!
