Honest question, are people still playing this game much? I'm concerned about it's "staying power" if that make since.

I don't have any problems getting into matches... but it does lack some content. Respawn said they are working on adding things though. The balance in the game seems pretty good, but it feels like the matchmaking system they use could use some improvement

Honestly the only reason I haven't played in weeks is because I just haven't had the time. Other than that, everyone I have talked to still enjoys the game including myself.

Love the CAR SMG. But the generations go bye so quickly that I barely get to use it.

I'm only on Gen 4 (still need 7 kills or so with automatic pistol). I told myself I wouldn't regen again just because I didn't want to use some of the weapons it forced you to use, but I must say I did have fun whoring it up with the shotgun. And the challenges of using the small sub machine guns.
Using the 40MM Cannon and Rail gun did suck lol, but it's the challenge that's 'fun'. Because I would honestly never touch half of the other weapons. Using the Sniper rifle was actually fun, and I hate sniping in every game haha.

I didn't have a problem with using the shotgun or the SMG.

Plasma railgun is completely useless though. I feel like the only reason it's a regen requirement is because they knew nobody would use it all the time.
