The rear looks way too similar to a BMW E90 3 series sedan

Personally, I'd much rather see an ATS inspired Grand National/GNX than a Code 130R inspired one. I really like it myself, I'd want more differentiation between the ATS and a GNX-type vehicle though.

4 or 5 years ago, there were rumors of Buick reviving the Wildcat nameplate.

Personally, despite being a huge Buick muscle fan I don;t see any of this happening.

But if it does? F the GN/GNX name. Go straight back to the heyday

I'm not 100% sure if you'd appreciate this or not. Interestingly enough, it's by the same guy that did the ATS based chops above (this one is based on the Holden Coupe 60 concept from 2006):

They need to make a ATS-V... Buick is too far gone with the retired crowd. Cadillac at least is moving towards the middle aged people. They also need to work the V-Sport editions too. Not everyone can afford the full V package.

Yeah, you're right. I don't like it...it should be in Apollo White

I bet if you compared average ages of Buick buyers vs Cadillac, the Buick buyers might be a little younger.

Quite possible but Buick at least in my area (and in my experience) seems to be more refined and older crowd. Caddy on the other hand tries to be more edgy just look at the cars they appeal less and less to the older crew I mean aside from the XTS they all look like stealth fighters. I think Caddy is geared more towards the successful Middle aged group.

I could be totally wrong though...

That looks awesome! I had a 2001 Regal GS and loved it, even though it looked like a grandma car!

Aren't they trying to reach a younger crowd? Twin Turbo V6 GN would definitely do the thing. I never knew the old ones were so fast until I saw one at the track the other week.

Dunno why GM doesn't do this, it wouldn't be compteting with their other two performace cars. The two chevys are in a class of their own and have niche buyers. A GN would just be more upscale.

If it was priced and styled right that would be a hell of an option for my wife's next car. I wanted a Chevy SS bit $50K when all the paperwork was done isn't in the price range I'm looking for.

Build a nice RWD or AWD Coupe or Sedan in the mid to high $30K range with a roughly 400HP turbo 6 and I would buy the crap out of it. Right now I'm thinking ATS but the wife has a preconceived idea that only old people drive Caddy's...

I'm probably just going to get it and tell her to deal with it.

Not only is the background the same, but the rear end has a VERY similar shape to a cadillac! But that would be a pretty sweet Buick!! I really like the back end. But that's probably because it looks like a cadillac.

To me it looks like a Cadillac front end with a Benz rear end and Boxster tailights
