Wow lol, I rarely hear of people doing that. I hear machine apply and hand removal but hey that's cool. Myself personally(and this is just my personal opinion) I would not put a buffer on my car and remove anything. When you are apply wax the wax acts as a slight lubricant. Helping to prevent scratches, but when removing you are going down to the paint or top layer of protection with a machine. It might not do anything at all and make the job easier. I just don't know and don't intend to test it out on my paint lol. This is just my rationale behind not doing that.

ive done it this way for all my other cars and trucks, just goes a lot faster. but this is my first black car, if you all recommend doing it all by hand , then i would just take your word for it. Im used to waxing much larger vehicles, so even if i do this car by hand, it still wont take as long

There is no more risk using a machine than your hand. You can just as easily perform either one incorrectly.
Personally I apply wax by hand and sealant by machine. Sealant is really key by machine imo in order to get the paper thin layers you want. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk

So CD you remove sealant and wax by machine? I've heard of many people applying by machine but not many removing it.

Hey detailers! Just bought my first Camaro two weeks ago. 2LT/RS in Ashen Gray. Love the color but I already have a few scratches and a nick on the hood from a rock. How do I fix these? I'm trying to be reasonable with the car knowing that I'm going to have some of these marks since I drive it everyday but I'd like to also know how to fix them. Any advice is appreciated!
