2015 Mustang observation

Anyone else notice that the 2015 mustang looks a lot - and i do mean a LOT like the 1972 Volvo P1800??

When I first saw it , I was impressed.
Then, after a second look , it reminds me of a plate of sick.

Ive owned a lot of mustangs before I bought my SS and I must say the 2015 is friggin hideous. The ass end is equally if not uglier than the rest of the car.

I agree. How are these two vehicles similar aside from color and both having engines and wheels? Over time it's nearly impossible to come up with a 100% unique design that bears no similarity to vehicles that came before it. Now if you citied some Aston Martin cues, (which Ford owns so they can pretty much do that), on the new Fusion, then you might have a mucg more solid case.

These cars similar? I don't see it. BTW, I'm equally puzzled as to why you would post this thread in the General 5th gen Camaro forum?

I may be in the minority, but I don't mind the new Stang at all. However, it does need a nice spoiler.

I do not see how it resembles a Volvo, though.

I have never owned a Mustang but I totally agree with you. Ass end is the worst on the road - front end is a glorified Fusion treatment (don't like it either).

[Edit]
Oh yeah... I see no significant likeness to the Volvo. Volvo does look better though.
