Well they are far from badass and they are far from bullet proof. I have a picture of my Silverado with two pallets of wood pellets in it. Now that's 4,000 pounds, and for those who are mathematically challenged that's two tons. Toyotas are grocery getters, and they are good at that. But if you want to get any work done that requires any muscle, you need a real truck. Ill take my Chevrolet truck over any import. I have seen Toyotas sagging in the back with a just a motorcycle in it. I would challenge any import to a pulling contest. Lets hook a chain between hitches and go for it.
OP, not hating on your decision, just some of the comments others made. If you are happy that's what counts, right?

And maybe Toyota trucks are better on gas! But nothing else come to mind!

Exactly. Had a tacoma for every bit of two weeks. It did several things well and getting stuck on wet grass was one of them! Sold it and never looked back.

Right cause everyone that buys a truck is going to be carrying 2 tons.

My parents have a Tacoma and that has been a great truck for them. They don't do any major hauling, but its worked for them for about 7 years now. I still LOVE my Chevy's, but the Tacoma and Tundra are nice trucks.

Bought my Camaro in December, then the "historic" winter happened. Hubby is in Afghanistan, so his Rock Warrior edition Tundra became my DD. Sure gonna hate it when I have to surrender it upon his return. It was nice to have the option to protect Bumblebee in the garage when the weather was bad.

Thought about it, but I just don't need that much truck for the things I do, I also like that I can just pop in and out of any where I go. It just works perfect for my family..

290,000+ on a 2006 Chevy four door pickup....

And this truck has had a very hard work life....
