My new table

Been working on this for a few weeks. Not because it takes that long but I just wasn't in a rush.

Started with a bare SR20 block I had from a project I was working on a few years ago.



So I threw in in a the parts washer and got it all cleaned up



Ready for some paint...









Here's a little before and after paint.



Well the glass I ordered came in today. All that left is getting the hardware to attach the oil and water pumps. Gonna do that tomorrow and I'll be all set.








I'm thinking about getting an oil filter for it....not sure though....

Cool!
I would put some rubber stoppers on the bolt heads so no one bumps it and knocks the glass off though.

That's pretty cool, but I would second the idea for rubber caps on the bolts.

That looks really cool!

But the engineer in me says that it will be very easy to break that glass. Those are relatively sharp points of support fairly close together.

its tempered. should be fine. not gonna be putting heavy on it anyway.
