12 Hours of Sebring - Bachelor Trip Advice

Getting married in May and my brother is taking me on a trip to go see the twelve hours of sebring (march 12-15). We'd likely just be going for the weekend, but any advice/tips on how to view the race, where to stay, etc etc would be appreciated! I was initially thinking we could stay on the gulf coast and then drive to the race so we'd have some beach access too.

I'm super excited, I've never been to any sort of motorsports event ever...

My only experience is at a street course (Baltimore Grand Prix)

I will recommend getting grand stand seats for the best view of the race.

(Random rant: Everyone who only paid general admission always tried to enter the grand stands and the ushers always have to turn them away because they didnt pay for it then they get mad and some cursed at the ushers like you didnt pay for seats go the hell away, end rant)

But since Sebring is a track there might be great non-grand stand seats. So my opinion might not help.

But try to get access to the paddock (where they keep the cars) for extra fun (sometimes you have to pay sometimes its free)

depending on who sponsors the event you might get free car swag.
