Well, I only whiffed one - a 10-pin - something I don't normally do. (7-pins on the other hand give me fits...)

I messed around during warm-up trying to slow down my tempo and get a few more revs on the ball. Unfortunately it screwed with my timing a little so I was struggling through the first half of game one. I finally realized the lanes were hooking up more than my original read so I sped things up a bit to get back on track. Got the game to the point that if I punched-out in the tenth I'd shoot 230+. I opened for a 196. Lovely... Decided to change-up everything - ball, target, hand position - and shot 235-246 for a 677 series. Punched out in the tenth of game two to give the team a shot at winning. And we did, by 10 sticks. I wish we could have taken game one, but the opposition was on fire and took us by 140+. We split for the night which I'll take given we were up against the first place team. Overall, a good night, though I'd like another crack at frame 10 in game one...

Awesome set man! Im ready for a good 700. Hopefully Ill be able to throw a few this half. Just need to stop screwing with my game until summer. lol!

Of course I'd settle for shooting some 700s as opposed to just missing - only had one so far this season. My can't-string-three-big-games-together curse has to lift sometime, right?

I'm a little behind this week on post but had a nice week for just being back from foot surgery 3 weeks ago today !!
Tuesday -204 avg. I shot 258-191-236=685
Last night-196 avg. I shot 216-238-191=645 just had to have a 191 both nights lol

Shot 660 tonight. (212, 202, 246) Got a twinge in my back late in the first game. Not sure what happened but its hurts like a mother now. Lanes were there today to put up a big series, just missed a couple stupid spares, and got tapped several times. Oh well, theres always next week.

Well miss it again last night ... 213-244-230 =687
I'm happy that we won all 7 points but thought I had a 700 . Had one open all night ..2-10 split and chopped it . On to Thursday night to try again .

2-10 was always my killer. I don't think I have bowled a set EVER without leaving this. INCLUDING my 783. haha

Well not as good but still a nice set for me .. I had 1 open and that was the 1st game 10th frame -7 pin .. I had soooo many 10 & 7 pin tonight . Just got pissed a little and didn't follow through , ball never came up . But I shot 195-206 -246 = 647 on a 196 avg.

Sounds like youre back in the swing of things after back surgery! I twisted my back on Tuesday and it hurt like hell. Not sure how you do it with an actual bad back!
